{No-Carve Pumpkins}

I'm back with another blast from the past.  I'm starting to see the pretty pumpkins popping up on street corners around town, and I'm hoping to decorate a few before our baby arrives. To save a little bit of time right now, I'll be doing a few of these no-carve designs…Hope you love them!!

{White Chocolate Candy Bark}

Happy Monday to you!!  How was your weekend?  Ours was extremely productive and successful, and I think I finally feel ready for our baby boy to join us.  The nursery is just about finished, those teeny-tiny baby clothes are freshly washed and hung in the closet, our bags are almost packed, the car seat is installed, and the freezer is stocked with some good eats.  Last thing this mama needs is a relaxing mani/pedi, and I'll be good to go!
Since it's finally Fall, I figured I'd keep with my theme of fun, festive recipes for the season.  Last week I shared this super simple, 3 Ingredient Pumpkin Bread, and today I wanted to share another delicious treat.  I'm all about easy when it comes to cooking and baking, and when I saw this simple recipe, I knew it was right up my alley. :)

- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- peanuts
- candy corn
- Reese’s Pieces

1. Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to microwave in 30-second intervals until completely melted. If needed, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the chocolate chips to make the mixture smoother.

2. Pour melted chocolate onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Spread to an even thickness.

3. Sprinkle peanuts, candy corn, and Reese’s Pieces onto the chocolate. Set the bark aside to firm at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

4. Once the bark is completely set, break into chunks.

I hope you all enjoy this yummy treat! :)

{3 Ingredient Pumpkin Bread}

Since the first official day of Fall is right around the corner, I thought I'd go ahead and get a jump start on the pumpkin posts.  I actually blogged about this last year, but I just had to do a repeat post because it's that good.  I love the Fall…I love the cooler weather, crisp air, crackling fires, and all things pumpkin - pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice candles, pumpkin scented hand soap.  You name it, I like it, so of course I was thrilled last year when my mom told me about this 3-Ingredient Pumpkin Bread she made.

How awesome is this?! 3 ingredients, bakes in less than 30 minutes, and it leaves your house smelling like pumpkin spice and cider...Pretty perfect for my busy days.

This is all you need:
  • Spice Cake Mix (1 box)
  • Pumpkin (1 can)
  • Pumpkin Spice
Mix ingredients together and bake according to directions on Spice Cake box.

Toasted with a little butter, and you have yourself something delicious for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert! :)  Enjoy!

{37 Weeks}

Good morning, friends!!  As we speak, my daughter is playing quietly in the den, I have a warm cup of coffee in hand, and I just put a load of laundry in the washing machine.  If you could have been a fly on my wall the past couple of weeks, you would understand that this is a hugely successful morning!! :)  It has been a bit hectic around here lately, but I'm so excited to finally have some time to write.

I'm officially full-term this week, and we're so very anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little boy.  He's such an active little fella, and I can't wait to see his face and hold him in my arms.  We've been busy bees around here trying to finish the nursery and all of those pesky last-minute projects around the house, but I've definitely been taking time to savor the special moments with my baby girl.  I can't believe she will soon give up her role as the only child, and I'm so excited to see her interact with her new sibling.

My sweet Kate had a big week, too…Not only did she start "school", she also took her first big tumble and busted her little nose right open.  These two things have both been so hard on my mama heart, but I know it's a part of life that I need to get used to.  Thankfully, she's healing nicely, and she's almost back to her normal, sweet, active self.

Here are some snapshots of my life lately that I will cherish forever…Hope you all have a great day!!

{Hospital Checklist for Mommies-to-Be}

It's official…I'm in full-on nesting mode, and you'll have to forgive me for my sporadic posts over the next few weeks.  I have a feeling I'll be writing between loads of laundry, nursery decorating, baby wrangling, and doctor appointments, and I'm looking forward to getting back to a more normal schedule once we get settled in with our new bundle of joy.

It's been so hectic around here, but in a good way.  My precious baby Kate starts "school" this week, and I'm already predicting lots of tears {on my end}.  In the midst of school prep, I've been in overdrive trying to get our house ready for our new baby, and one of the many things on my to-do list is to pack my hospital bag.  We're 36 days out, so it's time to get serious! :)

I posted about this before Kate's delivery, but I wanted to share the list with you again.  My sweet friend Christina passed this along to me, and it is such a wonderful tool.  I hope it comes in handy for you as well.
